My name is Anton Kuzmin, and I am a photographic artist and visual experimenter based in New York.
My work explores the space between reality and perception. I am drawn to unexpected moments, visual coincidences, reflections, shadows, and the hidden connections that appear when familiar things are seen from a different perspective.
I work across different styles, including pop art, surrealism, conceptual, and experimental photography. Rather than following a single aesthetic, I see each project as an opportunity to explore a new visual language and discover a different way of seeing.
Many of my images are created entirely in-camera, without digital compositing or generative tools. I am particularly interested in techniques that allow chance and reality to become active collaborators in the creative process.
I have never been interested in documenting the world exactly as it is. Photography, for me, is a way to transform ordinary moments into something unexpected, playful, and open to interpretation.
I never knew the right way to do it. So I found my own.
